Description

A whipped, grass-fed tallow balm for the morning. Methylene blue gives it a soft blue color in the jar that vanishes as it absorbs, and brings antioxidant support for a brighter, more even look. GHK-Cu copper peptide supports the look of firmer, smoother skin over a full skin cycle, while Argireline and SNAP-8 soften the appearance of expression lines. Organic Manuka honey and rose hip calm and hydrate.

The tallow base is whipped so it melts on contact and sits cleanly under sunscreen or makeup. Face, neck and hands, every morning. 2 oz.

Ingredients
Grass-fed, grass-finished beef tallow, GHK-Cu copper peptide, methylene blue, peptide complex (Argireline, SNAP-8, rose hip), organic extracts (orange, vanilla, coconut), organic Manuka honey.

Suggested use
Mornings, on clean, dry skin. Warm a pea-sized amount between fingertips until it turns to a light cream, press into face, neck and hands, allow a minute to settle, then apply SPF. Keep retinol and acids for the evening.

Why Morning Glow

Three reasons, thirty seconds each.

1
Why is it blue?

Methylene blue is an antioxidant studied in skin cells for how it handles oxidative stress. It's the reason for the color, and for the rested look. The tint disappears as it absorbs.

2
Copper peptide, at a working level

GHK-Cu supports collagen and elasticity. It's listed where it belongs on the label, not at the bottom, and the whipped tallow base actually carries it in.

3
Wears like a primer

Whipped, not poured. Melts on contact, absorbs in about a minute, and leaves nothing greasy under sunscreen or makeup.

The base

Grass-fed tallow is the closest thing in nature to your skin's own oils.

It carries vitamins A, D, E and K, and because it's so close to sebum, it rebuilds the barrier instead of sitting on top of it. We whip it so it melts the moment it touches warm skin, which is the difference between a balm you tolerate and one you reach for.
The actives

Four ingredients with a job. Nothing along for the ride.

  • Methylene blue — antioxidant support and the signature color
  • GHK-Cu — supports collagen, elasticity and a firmer look
  • Argireline + SNAP-8 — soften the look of expression lines
  • Manuka honey + rose hip — calm, hydrate and even tone

Frequently asked questions

Will the blue tint show on my skin?
No. The pale blue fades as you massage it in. Give it a minute to settle before dressing so it doesn't transfer to light fabrics.
Is tallow comedogenic?
Grass-fed tallow is close in makeup to your own sebum and is generally well tolerated, including on the face. Patch test first.
Can I use it with retinol or acids?
Yes. Morning Glow in the morning, stronger actives in the evening.
Is it scented?
Lightly, from organic orange, vanilla and coconut extracts and a hint of Manuka honey. No synthetic fragrance.
Where is it made?
In small batches in a licensed Florida compounding pharmacy, and reviewed by Dr. Amy Seinfeld, D.O. before it's listed here.
